All levels ensure the Conservancy's ability to preserve, protect and enhance the San Elijo Ecological Reserve and its watershed. Member benefitsAt the $50 level, you receive our quarterly newsletter featuring construction progress at the new nature center, upcoming special events, regular docent led walks, and scientific research projects in the reserve. At the $100 level,you receive our newsletter, the latest in our series of trail maps - the Santa Carina Trail Guide - and emails of our monthly bird surveys, wild animal sightings, and links to news articles featuring the reserve. At the $250 level,you receive our newsletter, monthly emailed updates, and, new this year, exclusive lagoon tours led by field specialists in birding, botany, geology and archaeology. If you missed our lagoon lecture series last year at MiraCosta, this is an opportunity to learn about the reserve from some of the same experts. At the $500 level, you receive all of the above, along with a copy of “Walk Along the Ocean: A
Guide to the Seashore in North San Diego County” by Wolf Berger, Ph.D., of Scripps Institute of Oceanography
and a San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy Pioneer Protector along with a special invitation for a personal walk (or
run) in the reserve with Conservancy Executive Director Doug Gibson.
