SOLANA HILLS TRAIL DESCRIPTION

Popular with early morning trail runners for its steep ascents, this trail provides great views of the East Basin, and follows parts of Interstate 5. Wildflower enthusiasts and photographers will want to experience the fragrances and awe-inspiring palettes of sage, chamise, Fragrant Everlasting, White ceanothus, Yerba Santa, and Monkeyflower. An elegant Fuchsia-flowered gooseberry greets visitors at the trailhead. There is ample parking.
