Thank you for joining us at our:

Legacy Circle Futures Evening Celebration
April 18, 2018

On April 18 Legacy Circle members enjoyed an evening of great conversation with like-minded, forward thinkers.

Legacy Circle members Michael & Teri Lea hosted the special event at their home in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, offering a birds-eye view of the eastern region of San Elijo Lagoon with San Diego County mountains as a backdrop in the distance. Light bites and refreshments brought together old and new friends as we celebrated our collective wish: protecting and restoring San Elijo Lagoon for future generations.

Guest speaker, author and storyteller, Chris Epting of Huntington Beach, captivated us with a presentation on his book: Teddy Roosevelt in California: The Whistle Stop Tour that Changed America (2015). Epting related the stories of President Theodore Roosevelt and conservationist John Muir, and the forward-thinking conversations that they had together during a three-day camping trip in Yosemite. We look forward to gathering again!

Thank you for an evening of fun and futures!
