HIKE & HELP ANNIE'S CANYON TRAIL

Here at sea level at San Elijo Lagoon, Annie's Canyon Trail ascends in switchbacks to stunning Pacific Ocean views at its 200-ft elevation. Every footstep counts. And so does every supporter who hikes this amazing trail and joins to protect it in perpetuity.

WHO IS ANNIE?
The trail is named in honor of a conservancy supporter, Annie, a 30-year resident of Solana Beach, who provided upfront matching funds to restore this only slot canyon trail in a County of San Diego park. It is the benefactor’s desire to expand and restore wild areas for nature and for people.

On your next hike at Annie's Canyon Trail, take a moment to look around, and up. Feel the breeze. Listen to birdsong or a faraway train, reminders of how people and nature are intertwined. In that moment thank yourself for doing more to protect Annie's Canyon Trail at San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve.
